- Monday from 7:00-5:00
- Tuesday from 12:00-8:00
- Wednesday from 7:00-3:00
- Thursday from 7:00-3:00
What to Expect During Your Routine Checkup
When you arrive for your dental exam and cleaning, here’s what you can expect:
- Initial exam — One of our hygienists will examine your teeth and gums, looking for signs of tooth decay, gum disease, or other issues.
- Plaque and tartar removal — They will use a special dental tool to remove the plaque and tartar from between your teeth and around your gumline.
- Polishing — They will follow up by polishing your teeth with a high-powered electric toothbrush and gritty toothpaste.
- Flossing — Once your teeth are clean, they will floss between them.
- Rinsing — You’ll rinse your mouth to remove any debris. If recommended, we’ll apply fluoride.
- Dental exam — Dr. Kaplan will perform an exam and review your x-rays. If you need additional treatment, he’ll discuss it with you.
- Oral health tips — We’ll provide brushing and flossing tips to improve your home hygiene routine.
- Scheduling — Before you leave, we’ll schedule your next appointment.
