Invisalign Clear Braces

Do you have crooked or crowded teeth that detract from your smile and make you feel self-conscious? Maybe you have even considered orthodontic treatment but aren’t willing to commit to spending years with metal brackets and wires on your teeth.

Millions of adults feel the way you do and have discovered that Invisalign can help them achieve their goal of a straighter smile without metal braces. Dr. Christopher Kaplan is an experienced dentist in Randolph who has also been a certified Invisalign provider for over 15 years.

How Does Invisalign Work?

Invisalign straightens your teeth with clear aligners that are customized to move your teeth gradually into the desired position. Also referred to as clear braces, the crystal-clear aligners slip over your teeth like a snug mouthguard and are virtually invisible.

Dr. Kaplan uses Invisalign to correct problems like:

  • Crooked teeth
  • Crowded teeth
  • Gapped teeth
  • Overbites
  • Underbites
  • Crossbites

You won’t have any brackets or wires on your teeth to mar your smile, and most people won't guess you're having orthodontic treatment. Since the aligners are removable, you can brush and floss your teeth thoroughly and continue to enjoy all the foods you love.

What’s Invisalign Treatment Like?

Straightening your teeth has never been easier or more convenient than it is with Invisalign! To start the process, you will meet with our Invisalign dentist so he can conduct a thorough examination and evaluate your needs by taking photos, x-rays, and digital impressions of your teeth.

Dr. Kaplan uses specialized software to create a treatment plan that maps out the movement of your teeth, and an Invisalign lab customizes your aligners to our treatment plan. When they’re ready, you will return to Randolph Dental Associates so we can give you your aligners and instructions for wearing them.

You should wear each set of aligners 22 hours a day for two to three weeks and remove them only for oral hygiene and meals. You’ll then switch to the next set, wear them as prescribed, and repeat these steps until you have used all your aligners, and your smile is beautifully aligned. Throughout treatment, we will see you every 4-6 weeks to give your new sets of aligners and check on your progress.

Treatment times vary, but many patients often see the desired results in 12-15 months.
