Meet Dr. Christopher G. Kaplan
Christopher G. Kaplan, DMD
I come from a family of dentists, and couldn't imagine doing anything else. Dentistry challenges me every day to put forth my best efforts for my community. I always strive for perfection, and take my time to get something right. I believe that dentistry should be a positive experience for our patients, and always perform treatments with gentle care.
Prior to becoming a dentist, I graduated from Randolph High School and received my undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech. I then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Dental School, and attained my general practice residency from Morristown Memorial Hospital.
In order to ensure that my patients receive the highest quality of care, I participate in numerous forms of continuing dental education. I regularly attend Morris Seminars and SADE (Seminars for the Advancement of Dentistry). Both of these study clubs focus on advanced concepts in general dentistry and providing the highest quality of customer service. I am also active in the Aesthetic Advantage Program, which provides advanced education in facial aesthetics and Cosmetic Dentistry at the Rosenthal Institute in New York.

In the Practice
I have been a dentist since 2001, and love helping the people of my community live healthier, happier lives through my job. I enjoy taking the time to get to know my patients, and making sure they understand how to take great care of their oral health. When a patient comes in need of complex treatments, I want them to understand the process so they feel more comfortable. My goal is my patients' comfort and happiness, and I want to make sure they feel great about coming to see us.
Dentistry is a complex profession, and I do my best to help patients understand their oral health and how to maintain it. I truly care about each one of my patients, because they are also my friends, neighbors and part of my community. I love relieving them of pain or preventing hazardous dental disease, and helping each person feel great about their smile.
I grew up in Randolph, and have lived in Chester since 2004. My wife, Edith, and I have one wonderful daughter named Jillian. When I am not at work, I love having fun with my family. I also enjoy golf, fishing, woodworking and gardening. As a part of our community, I have been a member of the Chester Borough Zoning Board of Adjustment since 2005, and am an active member of St. Lawrence Church in Chester.
